The Sociedad Mexicana de Normalización y Certificación S.C., as a national conformity assessment organization and aware of the importance of its function and the responsibility that this activity implies, commits to and implements models aimed at promoting and strengthening integrity; with the purpose of ensuring the honest, ethical, and professional conduct of each of our collaborators and consolidating the trust of the requesting organizations, in the exercise of our attributions.

NORMEX recognizes the importance of impartiality in relation to its management system certification activities, product certification, inspection, and laboratory testing, ensuring the management of conflicts of interest and the objectivity of the conformity assessment processes it carries out.

The standardization and third party conformity assessment services offered by NORMEX are based on national and international laws and their corresponding regulations, standards, schemes and technical specifications, and are focused on achieving customer satisfaction through the implementation and continuous improvement of its quality management system.

The staff at NORMEX commits to acting under the strictest principles of professional ethics in the performance of their duties, will not accept gratitude, commissions, special considerations from clients, organizations, or entities interested in confidential information, at all times they will act responsibly, honestly, and professionally, they will impartially and objectively judge the results obtained from the work carried out, will not get involved in conflicts of interest nor handle false or doubtful information that could compromise the good performance of the work carried out, will not take personal advantage of the relationships with people who have any dealings with NORMEX, the financial arrangements made within the Society will be those approved by NORMEX itself and in no case will they agree to make additional arrangements, the staff will fully comply with the code of ethics that the ema has in force.
